Kim Nadel, a green lifestyle design strategist, is an award-winning, certified interior designer and LEED Accredited Professional specializing in inspired sustainable living.
Kim has over 25 years experience in healthy
and efficient design strategies for the living
Originally from Montreal, Kim received her
Bachelor degree in Business Psychology from McGill University. Kim’s career took off in New York where she worked on sustainable projects including The Millennium Tower—the city’s first green condominium high-rise.
Hospitality Design magazine named her as
one of “The Industry 20: Leaders In Innovation & Influence”.
Kim received her Masters of Science degree in Interior Design from Pratt Institute and studied Furniture Design at the Domus Academy in Milan. She has been a constant advocate for sustainable design and has been a keynote and panelist on the subject.
She also served on the MFA faculty of the
New York School of Interior Design and
introduced green design into the studio
curriculum. The book she co-authored, The
Green Pages: The Contract Designer’s Guide to Environmentally Responsible Materials and Products, was a requisite for all Conde Nast 4 Times Square building tenants.

Margherita, founder of the Sunflower
Community, started the eponymous business 15 years ago in Treviso Italy.
She earned her Bachelor degree in Political Sciences in Padua Italy and later specialized in Business Administration courses at UCLA Anderson Business School.
Her company started from her desire to build her own dream home. She now has over 15 years experience building dream homes and real estate development projects.
Her goal is to help people create their
dream homes with an inspiring and uplifting experience. Her ambition for each project is to build homes with passion according to criteria for environmental sustainability and the wellbeing of the occupants.
She brings her strong team project management skills and experience from her previous jaunt at W.L. Gore & Associates.
Her knowledge of smart materials, construction methods and sustainable strategies along with strategic budget and time management are her strengths.
With more than 50 homes built, Sunflower’s exceptional projects include Carbonera and Lanzago, their latest neighborhood residential community developments.
Sunflower “Fan & Fun” community events started based on Margherita’s strong relationship with her clients to keep in touch and grow.
